Soluzione Earns Microsoft Solutions Partner Designation for Digital & App Innovation (Azure)

Soluzione is pleased to announce that it has earned the Microsoft Solutions Partner designation for Digital & App Innovation (Azure). This achievement marks the expansion of our standing with Microsoft alongside our existing Solutions Partner for Data & AI (Azure) designation. Together, these two designations represent Microsoft’s formal recognition of our capabilities across both ends of the modern technology stack: the data and intelligence layer and the applications built on top of it.

The Solutions Partner designation differs from the traditional Gold and Silver competencies in that the Solutions Partner for Digital & App Innovation (Azure) designation is awarded based on a partner capability score calculated by Microsoft using verified data. This data includes customer growth on Azure, certified technical skills across the organization, and measurable customer success outcomes.

To qualify, a partner must achieve a score of at least 70 out of 100 points, meeting minimum thresholds in each category. Specifically, for Digital & App Innovation, this means demonstrating a proven ability to build cloud-native applications, modernize existing systems for the cloud, and implement mature DevOps practices.

A defined number of our engineers hold the Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications (AZ-305), which Microsoft requires as a prerequisite before any additional certifications can count toward the score. Beyond these, our team holds further certifications in application development and DevOps disciplines.

Our growth in active Azure customers over the preceding twelve months met Microsoft’s net-customer-growth threshold, reflecting genuine, sustained adoption of Azure services across our client base.

Microsoft’s own success metrics for our managed customers — measured independently, not self-reported — met the required standard.

This is a notably more rigorous framework than the certification-only model it replaced, and Microsoft continues to raise the bar. Most recently, the Digital & App Innovation designation added GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, and GitHub Copilot certifications to its skilling requirements, signaling where Microsoft expects modern application development to be heading.

For organizations working with Soluzione, this designation translates into tangible, practical benefits:

Microsoft has independently confirmed our ability to build cloud-native applications and modernize legacy systems on Azure, based on the outcomes we have delivered.

As a Solutions Partner, we gain deeper visibility into the evolution of Azure’s application platform, allowing us to bring emerging capabilities to client projects sooner.

Qualifying engagements may benefit from Microsoft-backed funding and support, an advantage we can extend directly to our clients’ projects.

With designations in both Data & AI and Digital & App Innovation, Soluzione can support clients across the full journey — from building trustworthy data foundations to delivering applications that act on that data — without needing to engage multiple vendors.

This designation reflects the discipline our team has maintained in staying current with Microsoft’s evolving technology and standards and, ultimately, the trust our clients have placed in us. We are grateful to every client and partner whose projects contributed to this achievement, and we look forward to building on this milestone together.

Soluzione remains committed to delivering secure, scalable, and forward-looking solutions on Microsoft Azure and to continuing to invest in the certifications and capabilities that make that possible.

The Solutions Partner for Digital & App Innovation (Azure) is one of Microsoft's six Solutions Partner designations, recognizing partners who have demonstrated proven capability in building cloud-native applications, modernizing legacy systems for the cloud, and operating them using mature DevOps practices on Microsoft Azure.

To reward this, Microsoft calculates a partner capability score based on three categories —

  • Performance (growth in active Azure customers),
  • Skilling (verified technical certifications across the team, including Azure Administrator Associate and Azure Solutions Architect Expert as prerequisites),
  • Customer Success (independently measured outcomes for the partner's managed customers).

A partner must score at least 70 out of 100 points, with minimum thresholds met in each category, to qualify.
