PARS Inc / RPM Freight Systems
We have successfully provided RPM Freight Systems to meet the operational and expanding needs of PARS.
MS Dynamics 365 CE | Microsoft Fabric | OneLake
Project Overview
PARS Inc (Professional Automotive Relocation Services), a leading fleet logistics provider, was acquired by RPM Freight Systems in late 2025. This created an urgent need to unify two distinct technology stacks — PARS’s heavily customized legacy Dynamics CRM (xRM) solution from 2013–14 and RPM’s operational SQL-based platform — into a single, modern, AI-ready data foundation.
Soluzione successfully modernized and integrated the environments using Microsoft Fabric and D365 CE, delivering production value in just 9–11 business days with zero ETL jobs.

About Client
PARS is a specialized fleet management and vehicle relocation services provider serving over 900 fleet management clients across the U.S. Following its acquisition by PE-backed RPM Freight Systems, the combined entity required seamless integration of order management, routes, drivers, fleet clients, and carrier data to maintain operational continuity, while unlocking new capabilities.
Challenges Addressed by Soluzione
PARS’s decade-old, customized CRM was structurally isolated from the modern Microsoft ecosystem. Key challenges included:
- Limited AI Readiness: Inability to activate D365 Copilot due to a lack of Dataverse alignment and Unified Interface.
- Fragmented Reporting: No support for Power BI Direct Lake analytics because of fragmented custom tables.
- Data Disconnect: Disconnected data between RPM’s carrier network and PARS’s order/client data.
- Data Visibility: Core entities (vehicle orders, routes, drivers, fleet clients, service events) living in isolated tables.
- High post-acquisition integration risk: A common and costly failure point in PE-backed consolidations.
Soluzione’s Microsoft Fabric & D365 CE Solution
Soluzione moved rapidly from a scoped proof-of-concept to full production, leveraging native Microsoft Fabric capabilities to eliminate traditional ETL complexity:
1. Dataverse–OneLake Direct Link
Soluzione connected PARS’ modernized Dynamics 365 CE entities directly to OneLake using the Dataverse–OneLake direct link. This integration enabled CRM data to appear in OneLake without the need for traditional ETL jobs, manual exports, or duplicated reporting layers.
2. OneLake Mirroring from RPM SQL
Unified RPM’s operational data and PARS’ CRM data in the OneLake workspace using Microsoft Fabric for analytics and governance. This approach preserved PARS’ Dynamics customizations while enabling integrated reporting across the organization.
3. Power BI Direct Lake Reporting
With Direct Lake, reporting became faster, cleaner, and more scalable across fleet operations, vehicle status, client activity, carrier performance, and service-level data. Business users could analyze OneLake data directly without waiting for import refresh cycles.
4. Fabric Data Agent for Operational Queries
To make insights more accessible and practical for day-to-day users and operations managers, Soluzione deployed a Fabric Data Agent that allowed users to ask about vehicle status, carrier performance, client SLAs, and operational trends in a more natural way.
5. D365 Copilot Enablement
The modernization also unlocked the path for Dynamics 365 Copilot adoption by aligning D365 CE with Dataverse. This moved their them towards AI-assisted customer service, order management, case resolution, and proactive client communication.
